Career

I am Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing, Information Systems and Mathematics, Kingston University since 2003. I have also been Visiting Professor at the Departement Mathématiques-Info at Limoges University (France) in 2006 and 2008.

I was employed as a software engineer from 1999 to 2002 in a commercial environment.

From 1995 to 1998, I carried out my PhD studies under the supervision of Prof. E. Tournier at the Laboratoire de Modélisation et Calcul at Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France. During some of this time, I was also a Research Fellow at the Symbolic Computation Group, University of Waterloo, Canada.

I hold a German Diplom (equivalent of UK combined Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree, 1st class) in Computer Science from University of Karlsruhe, Germany and an Equivalence DEA Mathématiques Appliquées (French diploma of advanced study) from the University Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France.
